Saigon Ơi is a lively, bustling spot that feels perfect on a rainy day or honestly any day. The restaurant sits on a curved corner with lots of windows, so it gets great natural light during the day, paired with warm interior lighting that keeps things cozy. It can get noisy when packed since tables are close together, but you can still hold a conversation. We ordered the Bánh Canh Cua and the weekend special Bún Riêu. Got the shaken beef with red rice and it was solid overall. Meat was tender, cooked well, and had that nice sear, although the sauce was a bit saltier than my taste. Presentation was nice and the place has that modern Vietnamese vibe going on. Portion was very generous too. Would I come back? Yeah, I’d just probably try something else next time.

Honestly, no other place has banh canh cua this authentic. So delicious! The atmosphere is great and the staff are super nice and friendly. Parking is a little tight, but you’ll find a spot if you circle around. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!
