Tazza may be known more for their oven brick pizzas and gourmet sandwiches, but fear not budgeters, if you are like me and you cannot afford to spend a lot on food and beverages in a single day, you can still have yourself a nice, light meal at their grab-and-go counter. Tazza Cafe has good food at reasonable prices. It was a little loud when we visited because of FIFA, but the atmosphere was still enjoyable. Overall, we had a good experience and would definitely come again.

A hidden gem in DC, this cafe and pizzeria is worth walking to (or taking the shuttle from Foggy Bottom metro to Kennedy Center and walking across the street) to enjoy the fantastic sandwiches (chicken salad is superb), wood fired pizzas, and homemade gelato. Recommend calling to book a table during winter if you're planning dinner, as the indoor area can fill up in the pre theater period of 5 to 7pm.

This is a lovely cafe right off the rock creek / potomac path. I ordered a pizza and a soda and enjoyed it on the patio. The staff were friendly and the spaces were clean.
