I’ve been to the OG Ruby Slipper in NOLA. This location seemed to pack less of a spice punch but the service was excellent & the food was good too! The Vanilla Spiced Latte was 🔥I got the St Charles Bene & per usual forgot to snap a pic! That’s HALF of it! Hubs got the Trifecta & again a photo fail.

Had a great experience at Ruby Sunshine! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service really stood out. Isaac was our waiter, and he was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. I ordered the shrimp omelette, and it was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, flavorful, and packed with fresh ingredients. You can tell they put care into their food. Overall, it was a fantastic brunch spot, and I’ll definitely be back!

The experience was okay, it really wasn't what we expected. The food was very bland. I had the Catfish and grits with with White Chocolate bread pudding pancakes. The grits were very bland as was the sauce, and the Catfish could have been cooked a little longer, on a lower temperature versus it appearing to be cooked on high. The pancakes were good, but also couldn't have been cooked a little longer seems there was still a bit of batter in the the pancakes not fully cooked. Stopped here for a late breakfast / brunch at 11:00 and had enough food to keep us full clear till dinner! My husband got The Trifecta. I got the Three Little Pigs Omelet & we got the French toast bites to share as an appetizer. Everything was great & portions were large! Menu has lots of classic breakfast options, similar to iHop style menu/food but definitely elevated!!!
