Just walking in, it smelled amazing. We ordered the rib tip dinner with frys and a salad. At first sight, the food looked amazing, then you take a bite and the flavors were amazing. The meat was just melting in your mouth, the sauce was the perfect amount of sweet and it was just delicious. The service was amazing and the food came out quick. The only downside is I don't live in Chicago, so I won't have it again for a while. So if you are in Chicago this is a hidden gem.

Very good cheap/quick food. Their Greek chicken is always moist and not dry. Very delicious lemon sauce. The combo comes with 2 legs/thighs, basically 2 meals for me. Their rib tips was very tender. I also had their gyros, not the best tasting compared to other gyro places. So I would just recommend the chicken and rib tips. We get this almost every other week when we don't want to cook.

I’m extremely disappointed and disgusted . I found a bug in my salad, and when I brought it to the staff's attention, the response was dismissive. I was offered a replacement plate, but after finding a pest in my food, I obviously didn't want to eat there at all. To make matters worse, I was told no manager was on-site and therefore 'nothing could be done' regarding a refund. Poor food safety and even worse customer service.

I was very disappointed with my experience today. The table I sat at was not clean, and there did not appear to be anyone maintaining the dining area after customers finished eating. On top of that, the gyro plate I ordered had a bug. When I brought the issue to the employee’s attention, there was little to no concern shown. I have been a loyal customer of Nicki’s for a long time, but after this experience, I do not plan on returning.
