I’m in town for one night and tried Tinker. The food and service was excellent. Luna was my waitress and she stopped by often to check on me. My drink stayed full, food arrived hot, and I was never left waiting for anything. The empanada was cooked to order and arrived hot and crispy. The inside was filled to the brim with meat and sweet plantains. It was the best empanada I have ever eaten. Order them early since they’re made to order you may wait 10-15 minutes for yours. I cannot say enough great things about this place, My husband and I drove to Gainesville for a VA appt. We wanted to stop for lunch and looked up Latin Food this place had a good variety of Latin food on there menu so we decided to go. From the moment we walked in the staff was friendly and we were seated right away. We started with an appetizer plantain /tostones with steak and fried cheese, OMG , I can't stop thinking of them they were so good , For drinks we had Antonella and a Tinker sour and for lunch we had the puerto rican burger Everyhing was so delicious the burger had Maduros in it ,

Randomly found this in a road trip. My father is Venezuelan so when we saw the menu we were overjoyed. The food was fantastic. The Pabellon and Capacha was on point! Huge portions. Busy restaurant so the food was fresh fresh! The vibe is young with music that had big beats. The bar has many options including fresh juice. Very friendly staff and family that owns the restaurant. What a sweet miracle to find this place!!!!!
