Not to ruffle anyone’s feathers, but if you’re looking for a fast food review of El Pollo Loco, you should probably just skip it. Can’t imagine who might read this review looking for outstanding food, but if you’ve made it this far, don’t chicken out! I’ll do my best to wing it without breaking a leg. First off, they have a cleaver for a door handle, which made me chuckle. I may like white meat, but I also love dark humor. The restaurant was clean and the staff were helpful. The food was delicious! Chicken roasted over fire, delicious! The restaurant was clean and l loved how it was decorated. It is essentially fast food but healthy fast food! The cashier was super nice but one of the servers was actually quite rude. My husband is Deaf and we appreciated the cashiers efforts to help us but the other gal was simply not very nice! I wish I had gotten her name! We will go back and give it another try, maybe she was having a bad day…the food was so worth it!

This one is conveniently located just off the 101 in Gilroy. It was clean and neat inside with ample parking. Service was fast and friendly and the food was fresh. It was the only location ive been where they were playing Mexican music. It was an interesting change, but appropriate! I would definitely stop here again.
