Wonderful food, great atmosphere. I come to western market regularly but this was my first time trying arepa zone. I was planning to get an arepa but when I saw they had empanadas on the menu I changed my mind. The tequenos were definitely the highlight, but the empanada was delicious as well. Highly recommend. Love that they give you a buzzer so you can find a table first and don’t have to wait around for it to be ready.

5 stars for 5 reasons 1. The tequenos are the best! They’re fresh, fatty and simply delicious! The shredded chicken arepa was pretty good! Juicy chicken, arepa shell crispy and flavorful. 2. The green sauce goes well with the arepa and the tequenos! Good sauce! 3. Fast service food was ready for pick up when I got there. 4. Workers were nice and got my order out quick! 5. Quantity is a lot for pay! Def worth it

My girlfriend and I are no stranger to Venezuelan food. There are a couple of spots in the Los Angeles area that we liked go to from time to time. I would say that they are definitely the top rated spots in LA so we definitely know Venezuelan food. This is going to be a short review, but I will say this spot is great. All the food was very filling and very tasty. My favorite thing I tried was one of the empanadas. We tried numerous things though. Everything was really good.

This was a solid fast-cas spot! The meat fillings were hot and very tender. Prices were decent fir DC too. Our order took longer than expected despite there not being any line, but we didn't mind because Western Market is great to walk around and people watch. Very fun little lunchtime venture.
