It's always nice to have a McDonald's at the airport for reasonably priced food. The kiosk was convenient to order from, and we received our food promptly. Our double and triple cheeseburgers were about $3.80 / $5 apiece. Upon eating our sandwiches, they appeared smashed, sad, and pathetic. For $18 worth of burgers, I would have expected a bit more. I've eaten at other McDonald's, and the burgers don't look this bad. Also, the coffee wasn't hot it was lukewarm.

Use the app! This place runs efficiently, but it's a high demand restaurant. If you want your food faster, download the app and order ahead (even right when you get there). You won’t wait in a long line and your order will be straight to the kitchen. My food tasted just as a McDonald's breakfast should, and my coffee was perfect.  I requested a modification to my coffee, but because I used the app, it was addressed easily. Even though this is an airport McD's, all the daily deals in the app are honored.

Stopped in immediately after security checkpoint. I ordered a light meal of a side salad with balsamic dressing and two hamburgers ketchup, pickles only. The salad was fresh and tasty and burgers were McDonald's. Newman's Dressing accompanied the salad. The dining tables were clean and employees were friendly. A good snack and quick stop at DFW Term B Gate 40.
