First time trying this place. One thing to note is if you have any dietary restrictions everything on the menu is labeled. Theres a lot of gluten free but not as much dairy free options. Vegan options are available as well. I am un-sure of any cross contamination though but only because I didn’t ask. The drinks were good and our server was great, very attentive. As for the food the stuff that says it’s not spicy at all (labeled by peppers for level) still has a kick. The guac, beef & chicken I had all had a spicy element. So just be careful with your order if you’re not super into that. There’

We chose to take our family to Barrio because we were in the Haverhill area and had a positive experience the last time we had gone (approximately 1 year ago). We walked away and will never go back. The stark difference between visits is baffling. We walked in and were seated quickly. 2 adults, 4 children. The restaurant was not busy. A few people at the bar and 2 or 3 tables occupied. All seemed fine until we submitted our food orders. Then we waited..and waited...and waited. Between 40 minutes and an hour. For tacos. Looking around, we were not the only ones waiting for food. We stopped here for lunch on Saturday, it was not busy at all. The server was very helpful with explaining the menu and how to order. She was also patient with all of our questions. The salsa had a slight smokey flavor. The portion of queso is wonderful but the flavor was not the best. We loved the tacos that we created and highly recommend the stoner shell! Definitely do not sleep on the chimichurri sauce. DEFINITELY GOING BACK.
