As a fan of How I Met Your Mother, McGee’s Pub was a must-visit destination for us, and it did not disappoint. There was lots of décor and memorabilia from the show, which made the experience even more fun and memorable. The place was very busy, but they got us in right away and seated us quickly. Our waitress took great care of us the entire time and made sure we had everything we needed. I was especially happy to see that they had Angry Orchard on draft. Sister got the buffalo sliders, they were so good she threw up gang signs. Jokes aside, the food here is really good, however the portion sizes could be better. And nitpick but no free refill on the sodas. But great drinks and vibe. And friendly staff.

This was a pretty amazing experience for me. The site of the actual “How I met your mother” sitcom tv series and oh boy did it feel iconic! I mean the red leather both seating, the bar with all the signature cocktails and drinks up on display, pictures of artwork everywhere, a few pictures of the actual crew just hanging out at “Maclarens” as it’s called in the show. I wish I could’ve sat in the same place as the crew and that there would be a cardboard cutout with the crew on display but sadly neither was the case. As a big fan of HIMYM, I had to make a stop by here! It was so much fun seeing all of the framed photos of the cast from the show hung around the bar. The HIMYM themed drinks were fun, and we got some good bar food snacks to hold us over til dinner. Definitely worth a stop if you're a fan of the show, or just want a nice little pub to stop in!
