I went 2 times the first time i had the Zozzona, and it was excellent — perfectly cooked pasta, rich and flavorful, and very well balanced. That alone would be reason enough to come back. the second time i had Rigatoni bianco di napoli , very good That said, all of the appetizers are really good, great for sharing, and the desserts are just as solid and absolutely worth ordering. You can tell there’s real care behind the ingredients and the cooking, without overcomplicating things. A place I’d happily return to, whether for a relaxed dinner or a night out with friends. Highly recommended.

What a great meal and a nice surprise. My wife and I moved to Jersey City 5 weeks ago and have been fairly disappointed with all the food around us. Arriving with low expectations, Corto proved to be the most professional, hospitable restaurant we’ve tried and the food was as on-point as anything we’ve had anywhere this past year, including Manhattan. I had such an incredible experience at Corto. The food was absolutely amazing and truly authentic Italian. Every dish we tried was outstanding. We had the doppio tortello with baccalà, the mafaldine with Genovese ragù, the cioppino, the roast pork, and finished with cheesecake—and every single plate was delicious.
