Adam Li★★★★★This place is a coffee staple of Holland for niche flavored Latte's, espresso's, and teas most people in Holland never knew about. It's centralized around being a coffee villa for anyone wanting to get their caffeine fix when perviding free wifi so you can still do any work on the go. It's down the street from Hope College so it's always a younger atmosphere but everyone is mature & respectful. They do pervide a good bakery selection so can snack on the go. And it's worth mentioning they do have great hot chocolate with plenty of custom options. I recommend trying this place even if on the g
Vin De★★★Ok-ish coffee and a decent little shop. I tried an apple-cinnamon muffin and it was good. I asked for my coffee to be made extra hot (I don’t recall the exact drink name). It was very cold outside (around 4°F / -16°C) and I had a long drive ahead toward Grand Haven. The drink felt only warm, and by the time I walked back to my car (parked about a block away due to nearby one-way streets), it had cooled down close to room temperature. Overall: muffin 👍, but I wish the “extra hot” coffee had actually been hotter.
Lili★★★★This café sits on a street corner at the northwest side of an intersection, so parking can be a bit tricky. The indoor space isn’t big, but it’s filled with tables and chairs. The music is pretty loud—maybe that’s their way of helping people avoid awkward silence. You place your order right on the left after entering through the main door, and sometimes there’s a line. Maybe because the place gets busy and there aren’t many staff members, both the service and the cleanliness could definitely be better. The décor, though, is fun and full of young energy. The coffee tastes great, just slightly
Stella Farmer★This was my all time favorite place ever in Holland, but they changed their menu and have it no where posted in the building. I assumed, they still had their breakfast sandwiches, which I ordered, to discover they changed the bread to a burger bun and the egg was definitely premade like Starbucks. I paid 10$ for it as well. Absolutely ridiculous. Service was okay, the man at the register was not very welcoming.
