Was going to Monty’s vegan near by but they closed early. Somebody told me to walk a bit, so I got my lil cardio in, than bam!! Found this absolute banger of an Italian place. There vegan options are so tasty, it’s simple but the way they slow simmer there tomatoes and herbal seasoning is abominable! I was extremely impressed with my entrees and can’t wait to take one you lucky girls out to eat there lol

My son and I stopped in for a late lunch to avoid the traffic from Beverly Hills to Los Angeles, and everything was perfect as always. I ordered my usual—grilled steak, potatoes, and grilled veggies—along with the grilled shrimp salad with lemon and olive oil. Every dish was cooked beautifully and full of flavor. The strawberry lemonade was amazing, too. My son didn’t order any food this time, but he had the sangria and said it was awesome. Highly recommend this place every time.

Kindness wins. I took my toddlers to melrose and of course one ended up needing a potty. Every other place turned us away, but Mauro cafe was kind and let us in. They didn’t demand we buy anything either. We ended up staying for lunch and had a great time with the crayons the server gave them. One of my toddlers has ASD as well and had a mini meltdown but the server was still super nice and accommodating to help calm her down. They have pride flags all over and that made me feel happy because they were welcoming when everyone else turned my kids away. Thank you for being nice to us, and having
