On the road to PHOENIX AZ, Arizona, and stopped in Hutchinson, Kansas for the night. Just looking for a quick bite to eat from a local eatery. It’s not much open on the Fourth of July. We drove by the Rusty needle, and the parking lot was packed. We walked in and the bartender/hostess/waitress/All-Star let us know that the kitchen was closed, but there were hotdog and hamburgers being served on the patio and no charge to The patrons. The drinks were great, the burgers and hotdog had all the fixings plus some. An overall amazing experience, a highly recommended to anybody and everybody. We will

On our trip to the salt mine we stumbled upon the Rusty Nail. We stopped in for dinner. The kitchen was close because it was a holiday, but the bartender told us they were serving free grilled hotdogs, hamburgers, coleslaw and potato salad on the patio. We went outside to eat and had a little of everything, as much as you wanted along with a couple of beers to wash it down. The food was good. The service was great and the staff were very friendly. Stop in and try them out.

A great dive bar with better than you would expect food. My favored place in town to get a steak with blue.cheese crumbles and a sweet potato. The Rusty Thai wing sauce is great on wings or for dipping the chicken strip basket, which is only $6. I order from it's of items on the menu. They usually have a nice dark beer on tap. And the Sunday brunch is really good!! The deep fried French toast is unlike anything I've had anywhere else and is amazing. Especially with the spicy syrup. We go every week for bar trivia and sometimes we go just for the food.
