Sun Valley café has been a staple in the area for many years. The product and experience are consistent. The menu is not too big and has a variety of different dishes on offer. There are entrees and also lighter food such as salads and sandwiches. The staff are nice and the service is good. The restaurant was also remodeled a few years ago with a more contemporary look. On this visit, I had the meatloaf with fried okra and macaroni and cheese. The food was good but nothing amazing. Overall the experience is good. I will say, like everywhere the menu prices have definitely gone up the past few

Food is ok, server was friendly. Ordered breakfast combo, couldn't sub anything. I ordered soup and couldn't take it to go so I had to eat it there. I've eaten here before to try lunch and both experiences are sub par in prices vs food value quality. There are better places in the area to eat for both lunch and breakfast.

Update 4/24/26 Second time coming here and the food just isn't very good. I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes, and the meatloaf actually tasted rancid and was far too pink inside. Even the mashed potatoes tasted off. The wait staff and the hosts at the door were as kind as could be, but I do not recommend the food. Everyone was very nice. They easily accommodated 10 of us at lunch without calling ahead.

Food was great, hot, fresh and generous portions for the price. We were both very impressed. Our server Cindy D. was awesome, keeping drinks refilled and was very attentive to our needs. ( Not like a lot of servers at other restaurants that bring you your food and the next time they come to your table is to bring you the check.) We will definitely return to Sun Valley Cafe. It was a pleasant experience.
