Meal was tasty. I got the special which was a chicken Milanese. For a drink, I got the doppelgänger. The reason I gave the food three out of five is because the salad was swimming in the dressing, which was incredibly tasty, but there were so much of it. I had to lift my salad out of my plate onto a separate plate and let it drain. It was still too much, but as I said, the flavor of the dressing was fantastic. I would recommend if you do not like a lot of dressing ask for their dressing on the side.

We stopped in while traveling out of state, and this location turned out to be the perfect break. The atmosphere and menu reminded us of Houston’s—elevated décor with a comfortable feel. While I was a little disappointed they didn’t offer a spinach dip appetizer, everything else exceeded expectations. Our server, Drew, was prompt, polite, and very attentive to our requests. We’ve visited other locations in this chain and have consistently had great experiences, and this one was no exception. The steak was cooked perfectly with a great sear. Although there’s no dedicated kids’ menu, we were able to customize portions to make it work. Parking was plentiful, even with the restaurant being next to a busy mall. Overall, a reliable and enjoyable stop on our trip.

We found the atmosphere at J. Alexander’s Restaurant felt very upper scale. Though it is a very casual place the decor is very nice. Our food was really good, my shrimp tacos were delicious. My wife had fish tacos and really enjoyed them. Our server was very friendly and very attentive. This is a nice place to eat and we will return.

We had heard so many times about this place we should give it a try. Start by saying yhe atmosphere and seeating was very nice. The wait staff was excellent and above board!!! (James) My two children tried the steak bugers, was very large portions, the greens was fresh, meat was well seasoned and at least two hand full of shoelace type fires. My wife had the trout, great proportion and well seasoned...( she couldn't it all). Since living here I have been looking for a great, not good steak house! I ordered the ribeye; 16 oz; but chose to delete the special sauce they had; however James our server brought me some to trt, it was good. But for me, what sets a steak house apart from others is, can the steak stand alone by inself? The steak was very tender, and the correct ratio or salt and pepper; not cajun spice; cooked to med rare perfectly!!! Trimmed appropriately. Dined at the bar with Billy this afternoon. Service was wonderful, cocktails were on point, Trout Almandine was excellent but the couscous really stole the show, creamy and loaded with flavor. I had the Powerful Stuff for dessert, to say it was the best dessert I’ve ever had anywhere would be an understatement. Can’t wait to come back and visit.

This is the perfect place for date night! Everyone was really nice. Our server Ericka was awesome. I asked her recommendations for drinks and she provided two martinis, but I didn't get either one. I like cocktails. It didn't bother me at all because she seemed very knowledgeable on the popular items. I was impressed! I don't always get an appetizer but today I wanted to try something different. The appetizer is fried calamari with marinara. I can tell by the batter that the oil is fresh. The food is seasoned very well. The shrimp tacos were fantastic! I didn't have anything to say about the food other than how good it was for my first time dining experience. I had no room for the peanut butter pie, but Ericka suggested to try the carrot cake which we took home. She made our night and appreciate her.
