What a lovely little gem of a restaurant! I loved the cozy vibe (there are about 7 tables in the entire place) the menu is all tapas and there was a good selection. The servings were a tad on the small side (and im judging by tapa size standards) But everything is got was soo good! The pork belly was some of the best I've ever had. Our server Amber was fantastic especially since she was the only front of house worker. I cant wait to go back to try more of the menu.

I've been to a fancy small plate experience restaurant maybe two or three times before last night at 13 Gypsies. This was a great time for an anniversary dinner. Our favorite dish was the miso shrimp pasta dish. Simply a wonderful blast of flavors. The mushrooms were out of this world and the other dishes hit the mark in their own respective way. I'm not sure what the issue is with the "religious decorations" from some other reviewers. No one is throwing anything in your face here. It's a balanced mix of restaurant and art. Just call it that. Overall, this place has been on my list for a while and I think you would be silly to not add it onto your list for a special occasion.

A quaint corner restaurant, with a unique vibe. The 13 Gypsies motive isn't what I expected, but then again I wasn't sure what my expectations were going in. A very small dining area, with a few sidewalk tables for seating and perhaps waiting. Wait you will do without reservations, because guest just keep arriving. The menu options are unique, and so items sell out. Daily specials are available. I can't say enough good things about the food. Tasty, portioned so you can enjoy, but not to over indulge. The in house chef's take pride in what they do, and I promise that once you've signed there, you will plan another visit. Be sure to let them know that Terrance for Rochester sent you.

Funky little tapas place with great flavors. Here’s our favorites in order, Mongolian beef, sausage on crostini special, octopus, cauliflower, gnocchi and cured meat plate which was the only one lacking flavor. For dessert we ordered the cheesecake in a tiny mason jar without crust that was so creamy and delicious. Portions are small but we didn’t leave hungry. We were here 4 years ago and during our travels had to come back. Same great place.
