Celebrated 30th birthday for my girlfriend. Made a few small reasonable requests for seating and service and they were very accommodating. When staff goes above and beyond even slightly, it makes all the difference. Much appreciated. Service was excellent. Vibe was cozy, as expected from other reviews. Hubby and I had dinner here before the candlelit show at White eagle Hall around the corner. I was a bit skeptical given the mixed reviews but, I must say this place exceeded our expectations. The ambiance is very nice and romantic - kind of like a speakeasy with its chic decor, dim lighting, and live jazz band. Service was great - quick and friendly. Food was good. We ordered the bread service, grilled octopus, and truffle fries. Hubby ordered the short ribs gnocchi which he enjoyed. I didn't care for it as it was a bit bland.
