I stopped in for a reception for professional colleagues and only had a beer. Service was great. I didn't try the pizza they were serving our group. Biggest downside was parking. Parked in a lot on the next block over. It was a busy street with several businesses open in the evenings.

Stopped in Kearney on a road trip and after receiving raving reviews from a bartender in another pub, decided to give Thunderhead a try. We were not disappointed. The beer was exceptional, the bartender was friendly and efficient, and the overall atmosphere was generally laid back. We're glad we stopped in for a beverage.

Long beer list... you should be able to find whay you like... the pizza, let's just say Nebraska pizza is not NY, New Jersey or Chicago pizza. So what, the staff is way friendlier than those locations.
