I’ve lived in Miami for about 45 years, so I’ve eaten at many Cuban restaurants. Pasapoga was highly recommended and I’ve tried it four times so far and it is by far, the best Cuban restaurant I’ve eaten at in a very long time. The -masas de puerco- is the best I’ve had anywhere ever!

I frequent at this restaurant but no longer will. On a few occasions I’ve had issues with their Crema Pasapoga being too watery when normally it’s of a thicker consistency, chewy pan con bistec and just tonight I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered another steak sandwich (pan con bistec) for pick up. The lady on the phone told me to be there in 20 minutes. I was there in 15 minutes, saw her pack my sandwich when I got to the pick up window. In reading the latest reviews I can see pattern tat,unfortunately I must agree with. I'm,together with my family,a long time customer ad i can't help to notice that the quality of your food has spiraled down over te last few years. It went from being a place where you could consistently get a good hearty meal to a place where you never knew what you were going to find sometimes bad,sometimes good again The latest was te reason we kept going. We had a nice brunch here. Coffee was excellent and so was the cafe con leche. We ordered some appetizers and I was not impressed by the breaded shrimp. That had no taste and it was no crispy, more like soggy. The plate with the plantain chips and the fried cheese was ok but not proportional. Everything else was good. Service was fast and friendly. Mango juice was good but guanabana was watered down.
