I just had the most delightful experience at La Grignote in Key West, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best French bakeries I’ve ever visited — and yes, it’s genuinely better than many I’ve tried in France itself! La Grignote is truly one of those places you want to come back to again and again 🤍 The food here is absolutely delicious, with a real European taste and atmosphere. Everything feels homemade and made with care, not rushed or “touristy” like many places in popular areas. And the homemade strawberry lemonade left a special impression — fresh, delicious, and genuinely memorable. I also want to mention the owner of the café, Denis. We were welcomed so warmly and sincerely. You can clearly see how much attention he gives to every guest, always trying to make everyone feel comfortable and happy.

Great brunch place! I had egg benedict with smoked salmon and regular ham egg benedict. I really liked the egg benedict! Sauce was good and they were very generous with the amount of salmon on it. Key lime pie was good but it is a little thick and heavy for me. It was good! Staffs were nice. Parking is a bit hard but i found free street parking few blocks away. I highly recommend.

This place is absolutely amazing! Katie is truly the best, so welcoming and attentive!! If you’re in the area, this spot is definitely worth a visit! The location is perfect, the entire staff was incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, and the service was impressively fast. Simply put, the charm of the Midwest has made its way to the South! We already can’t wait to come back. And whatever you do, don’t leave without trying the honey cake, it’s unbelievably good! 😋
