Starting as a homegrown food truck specializing in made-from-scratch sausages in 2013, we continued our expansion journey with our brick-and-mortar location in North Park Beer Company in 2016 and opened our first standalone restaurant in the heart of La Mesa in 2023.

Sergio Valdez★★★★★I have visited Mastiff on 3 occasions and all 3 have been great experiences. The food is delicious, creative and presented very well. On my last visit I ordered the caesar salad, mastiff fries and 12 wings and both items were delicious. The beer selection is a win too. Their daily and weekly specials are great deals too! I highly recommend. Parking can be somewhat difficult at times but definitely worth a visit.

They have some interesting sour choices like Watermelon Tajin, I appreciate the taste sample, thank you! I don't remember the name of the other sample but it tasted like a Jollyrancher. I enjoyed their mexican lager and a hazy IPA both 16oz at 9 bucks. 👌 They also seem to have daily specials on drinks and food! 👍
Robyn Spencer★★★★★Delicous! We worked our way though the Pork Nugs, Sicilian Salad(chopped), Mastiff Fries and Double Smashburger. All items were perfectly seasoned. The nugs were suprising light and crispy bites of pork belly tossed kn a gochujang sauce with just a touch of heat. We will be back to try their pizza and chicken offerings!
