Man, if this place doesn't say hometown Merica, I don't know what does. Stop by and let Steve and his friendly staff feed ya a tasty cheeseburger or something. I just love dinners like this, we felt right at home and it's like stepping back in time. They had small bottled cokes (soda). The double cheeseburger was very good and what I'd call Coney Island style, but my Coney Island Burger reference is from Crestview, Fl, so take that description with a grain of salt. Food was good, prices low, and conversation great! Good parking just across the side street.

Found downtown historic LaGrange. Family owned since 1920, an absolute must if you love a great chili dog and ice cold Coke! Walk up window ordering or enjoy sitting at the counter and watch the ladies create the magic! Street parking and parking behind building with two hour limit.

This place was really cool!! There was a tremendous amount of memorabilia to look at on the walls & around the cafe. The staff was extremely attentive, friendly & courteous. All the patrons were smiling & happy. Very affordable pricing. No wonder this place has been around over 100 years!

Old timey nostalgia at its best! LaGrange is on our radar now after thoroughly enjoying Charlie Joseph's downtown. OMG!! THE HOTDOGS!! IT'S WORTH THE TRIP! We each had two hot dogs with different toppings: chili was sooo good, slaw just right, sauerkraut perfect, homemade pepper salsa scrumptious. Steven told us all about Cuz..his dear coworker who's surely looking down from heaven saying "don't change a thing"!
