Akua Afriyie★★★★Ordered the friend yam/turkey (~$20) waakye with fried fish (~$30). Took about 30-45min for them to make. It was very flavorful, one of the best waakye and fish I’ve tasted in a while. The fried yam was done perfectly, the fried turkey was the least well done they gave only two turkey pieces with meat the rest was fatty and bone. The environment was very welcoming and the owner was very kind and opened to conversation.
The Tapang Vlogs★★★I ordered through door dash so I wouldn't know about service or atmosphere. I ordered egusi stew with goat and pounded yam.. jollaf rice with a small side of stew ( red) jerk chicken.. and mash red pepper. If im being honest. The mashed red pepper was thee best tasting thing I ordered. It's almost like a salsa and it was just soo flavorful and the best spice! medium heat for sure. It looks unassuming but man its tasty. Jojo★The food was okay for me. I ordered attieke nd it came with no seasoning at all. Nd then they put maggi on it to make up for it lol. The goat meat also had no seasoning it tasted bland but soup was mid. My issue is the lady that was taking our order was very rude. She very aggressive and kept cutting us off. On top of all that she was rushing us when we were ordering. I hope people know this business comes with service.
ja D★★★★★I tried this place for the first time and was a bit nervous. I’m happy to say I had nothing to worry about. First the customer service was superb, on the phone and in person. I believe this is a family owned business and they’re very respectful to their customers. I ordered Egusi with jerk chicken, 2 plantain fufu, fish pie and a box of fried plantain. The Egusi was SPICY (exactly how I like it) and flavorful, the fufu smooth and tasty, the fish pie was excellent and pretty large, and the plantain wasn’t ripe plantain but still delicious. I highly recommend this place, usually I go to dc for E
