This has quickly become my favorite study spot. It's got great ambiance, awesome staff, excellent drinks, and enough seating. I've never seen it so busy that there's a line, and I've never had to wait to be served. It can feel a little cramped with more than 3 groups in at a time, but there's more seating in a back room that helps with that (though I don't think I've seen outlets in the back room).

My favorite coffee place in all of Lawrence, Kansas! And they're open 24/7. Cool artsy vibe and nice people. I might suggest they turn the music down a little bit for studying and chatting, but it's still a good music selection.

Went to the Java Break for the first time today and had a great experience! I was passing through Lawrence and stopped in quick for an iced coffee. From the looks of it, this cafe is one of the most unique cafes I have been to! It is quite artsy and designed for students and those who work online to pop up a laptop and focus. There is a whole graffiti room where anyone can sign and lots of sating inside and outside. Would recommend, and will definitely be back again!
