The service was fine, the coffee is always great and the dinner rolls are always amazing. I thought I'd try something new on the menu. I upgraded a side of potatoes to the "cheesey potato bake". I was expecting a nice big helping of melted cheese over crispy potatoes. What I got was about three tablespoons of barely cooked potatoes with cold canned cheese soup mixed in. I have posted a picture of what I got vs what was shown on the menu. I informed the staff that I was not impressed with this "new" item and they did not offer any type of compensation. My son and I stopped at Bob Evans in Lima, OH for lunch on Mother's Day, and it was a pleasant experience. We met during an "off" time, so the restaurant was relatively quiet, which made for a relaxed meal. We were seated quickly, our order was taken promptly, and the food arrived soon after. Everything was good and just what we expected from a Bob Evans. My son especially enjoyed his pancakes and said they were fluffy and yummy. We both ordered seasonal meals featuring strawberries which were fresh and tasty. Overall, it was a nice, easy Mother's Day lunch with friendly service and good food

Breakfast was super good, bacon eggs and hashbriwns all done great. Had a side if B & G that had fluffy buscuts with a crispy top crust. The waitress was very attentive and promt. Got a glass if tea to go at n/c. My new breakfast spot
