Absolutely delicious. I started with their flight of Black-Owned Bourbon flight (still like Uncle Nearest the best) and dip trio. We all had different favorites but each was great in a different way. For my entree I had the Chuleta which was fabulous with a very unique sauce. My wife also really enjoyed her Spring Salad. One of the best meals we have had in Louisville.

My friends and I recently had lunch at Mayan Cafe, and we had such a great experience! We were a party of four and were able to get a table without a reservation, which was really convenient. The food was absolutely amazing. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. Honestly, every dish we tried was delicious, and the drinks were just as good. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food, and it was definitely one of those meals that you keep talking about afterward. We made it a mission to try as much food as possible in Louisville, and this spot kept coming up. Gave it a shot… ended up being a little more miss than hit. Food was solid, just didn’t quite hit that “wow” level. Service felt a bit off—nothing terrible, just not very dialed in.
