This combo bar and coffee shop with long hours could be in any European or South American capitol - but we New Yorkers are lucky it's here. A nice place for Columbia students to study, and for working dudes who drink beer and watch the game on a big TV. Great neighborhood feel. ❤️

Truly enjoy every time! Breakfast is filling and tastes great. Love the hot chocolate and enjoy the teas! You can order takeout! The lunch is great, well served and perfectly packed to go! Great place to go study, read, and have a chocolate chip muffin with coffee. There is outside sitting, there is acholic beverages, and fruits. Overall, GREAT place, especially to start your day.

If I could give this cafe negative stars, I would. I came across this space due to it being open later than other cafes & fairly reasonable prices. Size is quite large & seemingly a good place to do some reading & writing. The first time was fine, just grabbed a tea. Second time grabbed a cookie. Today, I just attempted to complete a 3rd visit only for the rude man behind the register to come to my table asking if "I wanted anything & I hadn't bought anything". I often get my bike repaired next door at Larry's Freewheeling. Always see a crowd in this cafe, and finally check it out after a decade. It was my first AND last time. Service was mid; took a long time with zero sense of urgency. The coffee tastes burnt and bitter - I didn't finish the iced latte. The bagel was incredibly sad for an NYC bagel, and lacked an NYC amount of schmear. I'm glad I tried it! I just won't be going back.
