Stopped by Silver Moon Bakery and grabbed four different tarts, and honestly, they were all the adjectives that describe great pastries. Flaky, buttery, perfectly sweet, and just melt-in-your-mouth good. You can taste the care in every bite. This place really knows what they’re doing. Definitely coming back to try more.

I had wanted to try Silver Moon Bakery for a long time. After reading reviews, I picked a few items that came highly recommended: the blueberry ginger muffin, a vanilla cupcake with chocolate frosting, and the apple tart. The apple tart was by far my favorite — absolutely delicious. It was flavorful, well-balanced, and worth the visit on its own. Unfortunately, the muffin and the cupcake were very dry and disappointing. I’m glad I finally tried the bakery, but based on this experience, I probably won’t return.

Walked past this spot and decided to walk in before training that I was already late for. I ordered an Oat latte with vanilla syrup. Walked into my training and sipped the latte that didn’t have what I specified. Highly disappointed, why because I don’t use sugar or anything but the vanilla flavor. Latte tasted mid. Customer service was on point, everyone was friendly, even the customers. It was the disconnect of communication. The spot was clean and everything looked fresh and yum. Would I return, highly doubt I would.

Silver Moon Bakery is back! They reopened a few blocks south from the original location (now on Broadway and 101st). Their various breads and loaves still taste great. Glad to have a neighborhood classic back in business. You won’t regret a trip here!
