First impressions of this place have been quite pleasing; the atmosphere is calm and inviting, my waitress (Manager Jenny P.) is kind, knowledgeable, and just the right amount of attentive. Additionally, everything I have tried is really, really good: Stuffed Jalapeño- Recommended by the manager, is surprisingly good. The finest plate of sushi I've had in quite some time! I had the large Sushi platter - 17 pieces of nigiri sushi. Every piece was absolutely fresh, sweet, and perfectly cut. We followed that up with a couple of pieces of Unagi, for desert. It was a wonderful meal! Service was prompt and attentive and very friendly. The atmosphere was casual but calm and relaxing. The sushi is good and fresh. I had the Samurai roll as my main entree. It was good, but it seemed a little mushy with the crab. I also had tuna hosomaki and another that I forget now, but it's pictured. Fish was fresh and the roll composition was creative. The crepe dessert was also very enjoyable. I liked the layering a lot. Price was a little high, but not unreasonable.

This is a great sushi spot! Maple Valley is lucky to have it. The food quality has remained impeccable in the two years since moving here. I try not to go too often so as to not get tired of it however with limited options in the area I visit frequently. I would recommend the crazy Joe if you like a little spice and the super Star if you don't.
