This was our first time at Big Daddy’s BBQ, and we were not disappointed. I enjoyed the Tater Pigs appetizer and had the Tri-tip sandwich with onions and cheese for my entree. The meat was tender, flavorful, and had a beautiful smoke ring. I tried my husband’s brisket and it was the most tender, juicy brisket I’ve ever had (and I lived in the south and Texas for a long time). Mac was a fantastic server and made great recommendations (like the delicious Caramel Apple Crisp!). Brisket sandwich was delicious! Mac and cheese sandwich was fire! The appetizer portion was a bit small in my opinion. The kids enjoyed their meal. Not to bad for a BBQ spot

We shared a three meat platter and were plenty filled up. Brisket is great with good smoke ring and fork tender to eat. All three meats were better than 4-5 other joints we have tried in the valley at a much better price. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Service even though busy was quick.

I have visited Big Daddy's BBQ at their overland location and now at the meridian location. Both serve excellent BBQ! Happy hour is fantastic 2-6pm at time of this writing (4-24-26). I had the Swine and cheese, think pulled pork grilled cheese with macaroni and cheese mixed in. Top it off with the spicy BBQ or Carolina sauce, mmm yummy. Great for dudes, dates and families.
