These donuts are definitely in my top three donuts I’ve had in Atlanta. They’re soft yet chewy, with a satisfyingly dense texture. Because the donuts can absorb the smell of the paper bag, I highly recommend dining in rather than taking them to go — they taste noticeably better that way. My personal favorite is the donut topped with crushed Oreos. The apple fritter is also excellent — it has a lightly crisp, almost pan-fried texture that I really enjoy! I'm not sure what's going on with their donuts lately. Previously, they were perfect. Nice and light/fluffy with glazes that taste fresh but aren't too sweet. They also improved their strawberry glaze recently! I normally come in every Wednesday. Last Wednesday, they were very tough and dense, almost like a stale cake donut. I came back the next day (Thursday) and they were back to normal again. I even inquired if they changed the recipe and he said they didn't so I chalked it up to an accidental batch gone wrong.
