We really wanted to Brunch It Up...we love a good brunch place...so much. We left wishing we'd gone somewhere else. Brunch It Up (possibly in the middle of rebranding to just "Brunch.") is a classic breakfast spot in downtown Milwaukee...we were there on a Sunday morning...high brunch time, and were seated quickly upstairs. The place had an overall run-down vibe to it...scuffed paint on the walls and a general feeling of not quite matching the quality of the upscale brunch spot implied by their modern logo. This was a nice brunch place that seated 8 of us pretty quickly. The French toast sticks may have been my favorite meal of the whole trip. The hash browns were good, not amazing, and kind of cold. Overall it was a nice experience.

We loved this place and the humongous portions. My husband and I both ordered the brunch it up scramble. AMAZING and HUGE. Potatoes were crispy and held up to all the toppings. It had bacon, sausage, onions, tomatoes, and cheese. Just YUM. Cinnamon roll pancakes. The order came with 2 plate sized pancakes. Cinnamony and sweet as expected. The Maple cream cheese was very good and gave just the right amount of tang for the pancakes. The perfect breakfast. Boy was there are so many ways to customize this.
