Lovely restaurant, delicious food! We came here on a Friday night with our two kids and a friend and had a wonderful dinner! The weather was perfect, so there were a number of folks dining outside. We ended up sitting inside and I was surprised and pleased that they had an actual table set for 5 (most places convert 4 or 6 person settings). Great experience at Lumi! We started off with the Mezze Plate. It was great, but the Muhammara was amazing! In addition, the bread was unreal. It was light, puffy, and chewy with a nice touch of sesame seeds. The Lumi Iskender Kebab was flavorful. We thought the beef was well seasoned and the yogurt sauce worked perfectly. The Chicken Guvec was a nice pair with the Iskender. It was bright and rich. The Baklava could have been better. It wasn’t very flaky, and it had a very strong taste of butter and margarine. I visited Lumi Restaurant during a work conference and stopped in for lunch because I wanted to try Turkish food for the first time. From the moment I walked in, I was genuinely surprised by how warm, inviting, and thoughtfully put together the space was. The restaurant felt incredibly clean and had such positive, welcoming vibes. Recommend getting a reservation before going as it’s a pretty busy restaurant most days. Their menu offers various cuisines from American to Turkish, Italian, Indian, and Mediterranean. The food is really good but it can take a while to get your orders since it’s a busy restaurant. Definitely recommend trying their tiramisu though!
