I recently ordered from DoorDash and got a fish tray, a goat and lamb mandi half tray (which was supposed to include four pieces of meat), and chapli kebab. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The kebab I received was not chapli kebab, it was a completely different kind. The goat and lamb mandi had a bad smell in both the meat and the rice, which made it inedible. On top of that, the rice was just plain yakhni (broth) rice with no proper flavor or effort put into it, nothing like what mandi is supposed to taste like. The only item that was acceptable was the fish tray.

Absolutely disgusting experience at Pakwan House. I ordered the grilled chicken to-go, and it was clearly reheated, old, and low-quality. The texture was dry and rubbery, with a stale taste like it had been sitting for days—honestly felt like eating leftover chicken from weeks ago. Some pieces were dry and burnt on the outside but still weirdly soggy inside , which is a huge red flag. The food was delicious—especially the goat mandi and the mixed grill family platter. Everything was well-seasoned and flavorful. The only downside was the portion size, which felt a bit small for the price. Still, a solid spot for quality food!
