This is a wonderful spot. Great ambience, great service. The drinks and food were terrific, aside from the chocolate cake...it felt like it was ordered from a grocery store, which is unfortunate, as the rest of the food felt fresh, cared for, and delicious. The oysters were crazy good, and the shaved parm in the salad was on another level. Missing one star, as the cake felt thrown in, when everything else felt so thoughtful.

​I visited here in April 2025 and although I can't recall her name, I still remember our server who was born and raised in Monterey. I could truly feel her genuine passion for this restaurant. I went with her recommendations and everything was overall very satisfying. ​The crispy potatoes were a standout and ordered them again 😊 The steak was also excellent and cooked to perfection. But I found the cocktails to be a bit too weak for my taste, so I switched to beer for the rest of the meal. The restaurant was nearly packed by the time we left even on a weekday afternoon. This was a really lovely birthday dinner spot for my wife. The dinner and cocktail menu isn't the largest but everything they touched was delicious and perfectly rich. It's a well rounded restaurant and I would be going here very often if I lived in the area.
