Really nice people, happy to see a vegan spot in town. Not my favorite on the food side, but i will give them another try next time i’m in montgomery to see if the other menu items hit better. Prices were a little confusing because the fried pickles at $4 was insane value (about a pound of pickles), but the soul roll at $11 was really small. Soul roll: 8/10 - good flavor Mac: 6/10 - not my preferred profile, a little sweet Pickles: 7/10 - good batter/breading Ranch: 6/10 - a little thin for my taste

I came to Plant Bae while visiting Montgomery. I'm vegetarian, and it can be tough to find veggie friendly stuff while in the South. I was really excited to see a vegan restaurant! I actually stopped by the day before but they had to close early. The staff were friendly and asked me to come back the next day, and I am so glad I did. The restaurant itself is small and has a community focused vibe, with signs for events and people chatting over their meals. I went in the middle of the afternoon so it was not busy. I ordered a vegan Philly cheesesteak with the pickle fries. They were both AMAZI

We found this place driving through the state of Alabama. It was a pleasant find. When we walked in we were immediately greeted, which is the beginning of five star service in my opinion. The owner is also a published author who also happened to be the person we ordered our food with. She gave great food suggestion options, smiled the entire time and was the person that greeted us upon entry. The place was packed inside, there is also outdoor seating, which was great. There is a bathroom for customers, which was clean. The food was delicious and I highly recommend this spot.

We absolutely loved this place! As a family that eats a lot of plant-based food, we’ve visited many vegan restaurants, and one thing that often disappoints us is how heavy and oily the food can be. That was not the case here. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly light without sacrificing taste. The portions were generous, the ingredients tasted high quality, and the prices felt very fair for what we received. It’s not always easy to find vegan food that leaves you feeling satisfied and energized instead of weighed down, but this restaurant managed to do exactly that.
