Best Neapolitan pizza I've had in Charleston and it's not even close. Admitted pizza snob from NY and I would travel to this place if it was back in NY-- it's that good. Pro tip- if getting a large cheese pie, order it with extra sauce. I thought that was the only thing missing, and imho I was right. Also, it's best to eat it hot right out of the oven in the restaurant. The owner Laura and servers Matty & Bridget are terrific!

We frequently visit the Mt Pleasant area, and this is our 3rd time eating at La Pizzerian in a couple of years. We were very disappointed this last time. Given, we did go on a Saturday night, though it was winter. The place was packed. We could not have a conversation at our table because it was so loud. The other tables were so close to us that we could reach out and touch them. I guess you could call it "cozy". We went in, were seated promptly, and our order was taken fairly quickly.
