Nice place to study and work, the food is good same with the coffee flavor. It was a little smelly when I went, I know it’s an old trading book place, they could use a little air freshener or clean the tables with a light scented spray. Customer service was good 😌

Book Trader is one of my favorite places on campus. It’s the perfect study spot with amazing drinks, great snacks, and such a cozy atmosphere. The concept of trading books is so unique and awesome. On top of that, the owner, David, puts so much care into this place and is one of the kindest people ever. He’s made such a positive impact and his warmth and passion for the shop really show.

It’s my first time in New Haven! While exploring the Yale campuses, I stumbled upon this lovely café surrounded by books and a beautiful patio. I ordered a cappuccino—the service was really friendly and the place is super cozy. If I ever come back to New Haven, I’d love to visit again.
