The blonde bartender is insanely rude and very obviously profiles individuals based on race. I’m a regular and have never been treated the way she treated me. I frequent this bar and the vibes, drinks, and food are lovely as is most of the staff, but your experience here will 100% depend on who you are and who serves you. Besides the service from this bartender I would very much recommend this place but the treatment I received today will definitely make me think again before I return here.

The worst bathrooms I've ever seen!!! They are unisex which is fine! It was no bigger than a closet, trying not to step on pee while trying to take one then trying not to hit my head on the men's urinal while squatting was another bonus... Not sure why 2 toilets are needed in the smallest bathroom in the world 🤔 why not just a men/women's bathroom!? Ended up not spending time there....

You want a New Haven dive bar? This is the place, great food, solid beer list (cans and tap). Service is outstanding, props to Victoria the bartender on a crazy night with an event working the bar by herself and staying on top of everything and still friendly the whole time! Will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

I am Latina and have been refused service here the two times I have been here. Both times, I was in a white group and the plumpy white bartender woman only refused me service. The second time, this white, musty, old coot bartender insisted my ID was fake even though I’m 28 and kicked me out. Please read other low reviews; there is a trend of mistreating Latinos and Blacks at this bar!! Please do not come here! Please support more inclusive bars in and around New Haven.
