Bronze Wadsworth★★★★★This was one of the best hidden gems I have ever found. The bar was nice and small downstairs, with a lot of tables, chairs floor space and a balcony up. The wait staff were always great, freindly and fun. Drink prices you can not beat. The best around. Now, the food... OMG the food... We could not stay away. From the creole nachos to the boudin balls. Mozzarella sticks to the pulled pork burnt ends mac and cheese. So e of the best appetizers anywhere. The main course selection was delicious. Fish poboys, blackened chicken jambalaya, burgers, gumbo. We could not find a better place for the mon
Deanna Mapes★★★★★Just a great place to start when heading to the French Quarter. Located next to Manning's, this place is a stunner! Great food, fantastic beer prices and a variety of shot deals! Rob, our server, was smashing!! Great recommendations and uber attentive! The choices of dining outside, inside or on the balcony above the street is awesome! This place is just a couple of blocks up from Canal Street and the French Quarter. Highly recommend it to get your evening on the Quarter started!
Jim Johnson★★★Ernst Cafe is a historic establishment, a bar and restaurant nestled in the heart of New Orleans' Warehouse District. Founded in 1902 by the Ernst brothers, it holds the distinction of being the district's oldest continuously operating bar. The building itself, dating back to 1852, retains original features such as tin ceilings and exposed brickwork. Regrettably, on this particular occasion, the food was merely satisfactory and somewhat underwhelming. Furthermore, the service was rather slow, and we experienced considerable delays in receiving our food and drink refills.
Johanna Laura★★★★★We ate upstairs in the bar. You order from the bartender. Being about 1:00 on a rainy Saturday it wasn't busy and we enjoyed sitting by a window near the patio. Anyway, the food was amazing! Authentic, fresh Cajun cuisine. Great menu options, like 2 bites in and I'm thinking we need to come back for dinner. I had the fried shrimp, and my husband got the Cajun grilled shrimp. Their Cajun seasoning is delicious!
