Was searching for a great poutine spot and unfortunately Niko’s was closed and the other “top results” that showed up on Google were disappointing. Stumbled across Niagara Distillery and had a great time. Indoor and outdoor seating in a shared space with Niagara Brewing so we could order off both menus which was nice. They had live acoustic music too. The POUTINE was amazing!!! I really liked that we were able to add a generous side of brisket (or pulled pork) for only $5 more. Great service. We split the brisket sandwich, which was excellent. Really tender meat, quite tasty. The cornbread was pretty good - not dry, tasty butter to dip it in. The BBQ sauce is sweet. We tried the whisky, which was pretty new and didn’t have a lot of depth.

Wondering around Niagara trying to find a place to eat we walked in Niagara Distillery and I am glad we did. I have to say, I don’t usually write reviews unless something stands out and Jaime stood out for us. He’s service was exceptional, we was so attentive and efficient even though the restaurant was full and clearly short-staffed. Jaime made sure we had what we needed and was still as nice and welcoming even though it was the end of his shift and things had been chaotic for the whole day. Great experience. We were on a bit of a “staycation” from Buffalo and were trying to find somewhere not quite so touristy or gimmicky. Landed here and were very happy that we did. Daniel was our server and he made great recommendations for us - brisket, pulled pork, and ribs were all great. But the baked beans were my favorite - a little different than the usual “way too sweet” kind you get everywhere else. Enjoyed one of their beers and even tried a sample of their ice wine beer. Would definitely go back.
