The patio area was nice, our server was great. The food was average at best, the horseshoe was disappointing. They seemed to just plop cheese sauce straight out of the can on top of it and the steak fries on it were also an odd twist. The chicken strips were somewhat tough, the onion rings were the best part of our meal.

Looks like a bit of a dive (no offense intended). It's is clean and smells good inside! Bar area and simple black tables and chairs in a smallish room. Service was fantastic! Helpful and so fast. Ordered a med-rare schooner burger with onion rings. Burger was thick and juicy. The onion rings were exactly how we like them with that light fresh batter. They were perfectly cooked. Asked for ranch and she brought it out in individual little plastic cups. That was really good too! Tap beers poured into an ice cold schooner glass. (It's like a goblet if you're not familiar.) Don't let the atmosphere or look deter you. It's unique. Old time tavern like feel. Our server was wonderful. The food was slow to come out but very good. The frosted mug was a great touch.

What a great lunch at Schooner's today! My friend and I had wings and their famous, delicious onion wings. Angel was our server and she was so wonderful!!! I must go back and take my husband to share their king tenderloin. Good job as usual Schooner's. Can't wait to come back!!!
