Very authentic people and kind people!! Pit master gave is multiple samples, now I'm from Kansas City so I'm very particular about my bbq but I wasn't dissatisfied. Chicken had great season and was covered in a sweat orange like sauce.Ribs was flavored great a tad on the dry side. Mustard based BBQ sauce if that's your thing. Oh yea don't forget the okra 🔥

This is a true hole in the wall. I say that as a good thing. This place is small but puts out a good product. Usually BBQ places or out all the specialties of bbq but this place is pork only, no brisket. Oh, and fish. The sides, oh I loved the bbq beans-excellent. The potato salad is a heavy mustard type, which I love but others might find off-putting. I'm impressed by the outdoor chimney smoker they use. Their single sauce was a thin and flavorful one, thin like a Carolina sauce. My friend brought us here and we'd go back again.

Great little hole in the wall joint with perfect ribs! The smoker IS the restaurant and that wonderful smell hits first. Ribs had great flavor, peeled easily off the bone and were tender but not mushy. Pulled pork was good as well. The meat was piled on a styrofoam on top of white bread, as any good BBQ should be! The banana pudding comes in a small container and is perfectly reminiscent of grandma's house or church dinners. Very happy I stopped!

I found the meat to be a little dry but it was really tasty. I wasn't too sure about the cleanliness although both gents wore gloves and much to my surprise, the health department had given them an upper 90% which i thought was incredible, given the fact the place looked like a run-down shack. I guess you should never judge a book by its cover. I really loved the 80s painting of the owners/brothers? Maybe our community should invest in helping them upgrade!
