Sashimi sliced so thick We went for the omakase, sashimi platter, and black snapper carpaccio — every bite felt like a flavor unboxing. Sauces, twists, surprises… I was literally sitting there waiting for the next plot twist. If you want sushi that’s fun, bold, and outrageously generous… Yanagi Sushi is the spot.

Ordered salmon, yellowtail, ikura, rainbow roll and philly roll. Everything was very good. Only caveat is that the rainbow roll wasn’t traditional in that it had a sauce over it. If you like it traditional then ask for no sauce.

I watched they advertised on face book great marketing. . We always go to katsuya woodland hills and we just love it so much always fresh top notch. So we thought we can try this place for first time and every thing was a no no . Soup tasted like some. All sushi had such a strong sauce on them that you could not taste the sushi. I brought it to there Attention but owner did not care sitting on his computer. But the girl who was our servant was so nice and did not charge me for soup. If you are a sushi lover this is not a place .. sorry.

I typically order out from here but hope to go to the in person restaurant one day. I really enjoy how their food is tasty and fresh while having a simple base of ingredients. I have a sensitive stomach so I can't enjoy really rich foods without consequences, however the food here never upsets my stomach! I also love that they have udon noodles, its one of my favorites and I hope the online menu will have a just udon option one day :)
