Since Sam retired last November the new owners have removed simple items from the menu such as what comes with an order. For example, a French dip and anything else along that line now instead of coming with fries and a soup or salad only comes with one thing. Just one thing, so that's a terrible value. Of course as with everybody, prices have gone up, but to remove things from the menu and raise the prices creates a poor value even though the food is still delicious. Sams has good food that is competitively priced. The restaurant is clean, with a mix of tables, booths and the counter. There is ample parking and a train that runs around the restaurant on a track positioned about 3' below the ceiling. Overall, a solid place to eat and I will be back.

Excellent prices, great service, and fun atmosphere. Great family establishment. My wife and I took our 2 year old there recently and had a great time. I was shocked we got out of there well under $100, not bad for a family of 3 (4 if you count the extra 80 lbs im carrying). Give them a try and you won't be let down!
