Grease, Grease, and more Grease! My husband suggested this place, and I was excited. Who doesn’t love a Funnel Cake? Plus, I didn’t have to wait for a vendor to come to downtown OP! However, the Funnel Cake was hard and not packaged well. I took a small bite and was done immediately. I inspected the bottom of the Funnel Cake, trying to figure out why it wasn’t tearing easily like a light, fluffy one. My suggestion is that if a Funnel Cake is taken from hot grease and packaged in styrofoam, some holes should be poked in it. The powdered sugar will come wet and sweaty, and the holes will help

Palacana Tropicana on Santa Fe in Olathe is an absolute GEM and I will not stop telling people about it. I came for the food and was not prepared for how good it was going to be. Fresh, bold, authentic Mexican flavors — the kind that remind you what real food tastes like. The tortas are loaded, the tacos are dialed in, and everything is made with care you can actually taste. Visted here on a Saturday for some ice cream and the whole experience was amazing. It was our first time here, the staff didn't make us feel rushed to order. Service was great! The product is amazing. It's a 35 minute drive from where we live, we definitely will be back.
