I used to love this place and it was one of my go-to spots for Dominican food, which makes this review even more disappointing to write. The last three times I’ve gone, the quality has really gone downhill. Twice the rice was burnt, and I brushed it off hoping it was just a bad day. This last visit was the final straw. While eating, my partner hurt his mouth chewing and we realized there was a small piece of metal in the food. That’s not just disappointing — that’s dangerous. I was a bit hesitant at first about ordering from this place because all the reviews I read seemed a bit disappointing, however when I received my first order of yellow rice and ribs I was truly satisfied, and so was my girlfriend. I chose not to make a review on that day since it could've been a fluke. Then I placed two separate orders on two separate days. Food was amazingly delicious. I had trouble ordering my food cause the waitress didn’t speak much English. The delivery guy helped. I ordered salmon rice and beans and this eggs and peppers dish. All of it was good. I must add if you don’t ask them to cover your food with a gravy they won’t. (Reviews were saying the food was dry, that’s was why) I’ll definitely be back again. The food was delicious, and a great cost! Amazing homey food that had me coming back for more! I had the stewed chicken w/ rice and beans on top, and a side order of curry salmon. It honestly was that best! A go to where I won’t break the bank, but enjoy the food just the same!!
