The Kitchen Table is nestled downtown Omaha in a construction heavy area. But don’t let that stop you as we found plenty of parking in front and around the corner. The exterior has an outside dining area with seating for several customers. The inside was nicely decorated and organized. Plenty of signs, posters and decorative items to look at, while waiting for your order (short wait) and while eating delicious food! The menu had a variety of items from Wagyu beef to eggs and toast, along with numerous vegan options!

We were in town for a concert and had breakfast here. The grits bowl was delicious and memorable. Three of is ordered the same thing and we were very happy with our choice. For a non-traditional breakfast, the grots bowl was excellent! The atmosphere was warm and inviting.

First time visitor but will be returning soon! I went with the grilled sweet potato jam sandwich and am so happy I did! It was perfectly executed from the bread choice to the slight scorching of the sweet potato, giving it an added flavor boost. I would definitely recommend it. Service was friendly and quick. Very helpful. I realize choosing to go downtown for food results in some logistics issues but this place is well worth the efforts.
