I went there with six people. It’s located in a trendy part of Brooklyn, and the restaurant has a really nice atmosphere. The staff who served our table were also very friendly. As for the food, I was interested in okonomi fried potato and eringi karaage, but they weren’t anything special—just generally tasty. The garlic shrimp was probably the best dish, and the sushi rolls we ordered were also just average. I wasn’t particularly impressed with the desserts. Came here for brunch and had a beef udon set that was so satisfying the broth I could drink by itself tbh. I was so content with the meal that later in the evening when I couldn’t think of what to eat I decided to return with my friend for dinner. We indulged in their delicious wagyu steak cooked perfectly medium rare. and spicy ramen with soft boiled egg which had an approachable level of spice but lots of flavor. Found a gem in the neighbourhood! Food was fantastic, everything was seasoned and cooked really well. We came for 545 dinner and the place had just opened so it was more on the quiet side but as we left people were strolling in. The decor and details of the place was stunning and on brand for a Japanese izakaya. Happy hour is great! Highly recommend grabbing a few apps from that menu. I didn't picture all the food we had but we ordered the addictive cabbage, spicy tuna on crispy rice, mochiko chicken karaage, waygu steak and miso glaze cod. Enjoyed our meal. I had several sushi options, some of the apps an a craft cocktail . All excellent. Server was extremely helpful. I cat rember the name of the app but it was a bakes rice item with sauceand it was amazing . It was on the happy hour list of Apps . They do have “ plain “ rolls if you’d like they just are not listed on the menu.
